After reading a few “home” magazines such as Traditional Home and House Beautiful, it would be pretty easy to get bummed out about your own home…Check these GORGEOUS places out…

While the actual design and architecture of all these homes is probably fabulous, I think it’s also about the accessories! Notice the orange Hermes blanket in the first photo, the numerous plants and pillows…Each photo is highlighted by plants, flowers and other pretty little things that just give it that pop!

Got me thinking about my house! Here are my favorite ways to accessorize!

I love to add flowers in fun personal spaces such as your bathroom…

Also love to have small silver frames with neat pictures of people I love…

My favorite thing to buy is a coffee table book. I collect them and love to see them stack up. Here would be the view if you’re sitting on the couch. I love that look!

That’s all for now…I need to keep reading for ideas to spruce up the outdoors. I lack imagination there!

While texting with a girlfriend this quiet Sunday afternoon, I reminded her that it’s a well known fact that Winter is by far one of the most “blah” seasons and with the awakening of Spring just around the corner, lovely thoughts and lovely things are bound to be happening!
Aren’t the following things just lovely about Spring?
1. Fresh Spring dinners and salads?
2. Dresses!!!!
3. Flowers…
 4. A lovely table setting
5. I’m not a huge wine drinker but a cold glass of my Uncle’s Pasorina wine or

Riesling….Amazing!!!

6. Pedicures are needed….
7. Because you’ll be wearing sandles!
8. Birds that love to chirp…
9. Simply the Sunshine!

Tooth Fairy

Mar
02
I got my wisdom tooth pulled today (yes, only one!) and when the oral surgeon handed me my tooth in a cute little box with a fairy on it I had a delightful idea! I decided I would ask the tooth fairy (Brian minus the wings) to bring this little patient a small gift for all the pain she endured today (violins can begin now.)
Anyhoo, the tooth fairy may need some help and guidance so I am getting a list together for her (him) so she (he) can easily navigate the Fashion Fairy Mall!
I’ll even write a letter…
Dear Tooth Fairy,

Hey! What’s up! I haven’t seen you in about oh I dunno 22 years or so? How have you been? Has the economy hit you pretty bad or do tooth fairys do pretty well regardless? Well, you obviously heard through the Fairynet that I got my wisdom tooth pulled and I feel it’s only fair that everyone benefits from your services, right? Since I don’t really need the few dollars or lollipop you would normally leave I have decided to give you a list of things I would like and you can decide what you think is fair. Thank you so much in advance and hope to see you in a few years when Juju loses a tooth…

All my love,
Lulu

P.S If this letter sounds a little funny, anesthesia makes me super silly. Please forgive.
Ok TF, I am in LOVE with this dress but the price is INSANE!!! I think this one should go to the brave ones who got all 4 teeth pulled out but just in case you find $415.00 on your way to So Cal, one of these will do!
Pottery Barn Found Soda Crate ~ I would probably take some parchment paper or newspaper and use them for a big bread basket or for small bottled waters when entertaining.
This Bellini eau de toilette from Calypso St. Barth smells delicious!
P.S Please don’t leave under my pillow….Thank you!
Update a few hours later:
The tooth fairy came before I went to bed and she/he went with this fabulous gift from Piperlime and guess what? She/he even let me order it myself! I just LOVE her/him! Thanks TF! You rock!

Are you in LOVE yet? I can’t get enough of this house designed by Julie from Massucco Warner Miller. I was reading Stephmodo this morning which linked me to this  design genius! This home is in San Francisco and I am pretty sure I saw it in the magazine House Beautiful a few months back. GORGEOUS!!

I got the new Lands End Canvas catalog in the mail yesterday and I think I am going to pull this look off for Spring… I think it says I’m a chic & put together mama but I’m also spontaneous and fun.

For $79.50 I say this sweater jacket is worth it! It also comes in pink! I can picture myself wearing it on the French Riviera on a cool evening. (DREAM, DREAM, DREAM!)
$29.50 is not bad at all!

Picturing myself at the park with Juju in this outfit, LOVE the shorts! $49.50
Chic, Chic and Super Chic skirt, $49.50!
$49.50 for this bag, perfect for the beach or even a Spring/Summer tote!

Shop this line here..
